At Axsona (part of Pantas), we build AI Twins: demographically accurate AI agents that simulate how real audiences respond to your messaging, products, and strategy. Decision-makers get evidence before they commit budget — not after.

We're hiring a Forward-Deployed AI Analyst to sit at the centre of that work.

What you'll actually do:

Run AI simulations, embed with client teams, and turn model output into recommendations that hold up under scrutiny from senior decision-makers. You'll build the systems clients rely on — and you'll defend your calls in the room.

Who we're looking for:

People who already build with AI — not just use it. Evidence beats credentials. 0–2 years' experience, fresh grads welcome, as long as you have something real to point to. Fluent English + working Bahasa Malaysia.

The one thing that won't fly: chatting with an AI, finishing courses, or listing tools. Show us something you built, automated, or shipped.

How we work: AI-first, for real

Axsona operates inside Pantas's AI-first culture. Every employee gets access to Claude Code, and may also work with OpenAI Codex, Gemini, and other AI systems. These aren't chatbots for drafting emails — we use AI to do real work and build real systems: agents, skills, automations, workflows, prototypes, analyses, and client-facing tools.

This role is open to technical and non-technical backgrounds, but it is not a non-technical role. Everyone builds and codes with AI-assisted tools. You don't need to be a conventional software engineer — but you must already be comfortable using AI to create, analyse, automate, and deliver meaningful work.

The role

You'll sit at the centre of client engagements across a range of industries. At the client site, you'll map workflows, gather requirements, and help clients get maximum value from the system. Back at the office, you'll translate those needs into clear work for our engineering team and help refine the platform. You'll start with structured onboarding and close mentorship, then take on greater client responsibility as you grow. The standard is decision-grade from day one.

What you'll do

Client discovery & workflow mapping

• Embed in the client's environment to understand workflows, priorities, and decision cadence.
• Turn client requirements into structured briefs engineering can act on.
• Serve as the key day-to-day contact between the client and Axsona.

AI simulation & analysis

• Run daily and on-demand simulation cycles; interpret outputs and identify which strategies are deployable and which carry risk.
• Build and iterate AI-assisted prompts, agents, skills, workflows, automations, and prototypes that improve simulation quality and delivery.

Decision-ready deliverables

• Produce clear summaries with verdicts, implications, and recommended next steps.
• Translate complex AI outputs into plain-language recommendations non-technical stakeholders can act on.
• Present findings in client briefings and stand behind your recommendations under scrutiny.

Translation to engineering

• Convert client needs into actionable tasks — scope, priority, acceptance criteria.
• Validate improvements with end users, capture feedback, and drive iterative enhancements.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline — we care how you think and what you can do, not what you studied.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, university projects, or freelance work. Fresh graduates strongly encouraged.
• Evidence that you already use AI to build or execute meaningful work. Technical experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Fluency in English and working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia — you'll read, write, and present in both daily.
• Strong structured thinking: turning messy, ambiguous inputs into clear outputs.
• Clear communication and the confidence to ask useful questions and explain complex ideas simply.
• Commercial awareness — connecting AI capability to real business value.

Nice to have (not required)

Client-facing, consulting, research, or analytical experience; producing recommendations under time pressure; AI-assisted coding, LLM/agent or workflow design, data analysis, prototyping, or automation; presenting to senior audiences without jargon.

Show us your work

We'll ask you to show what you've built, automated, or delivered using AI. Strong examples can come from employment, internships, university, freelance, community, or self-directed projects — they don't need to be production software or launched products. Chatting with an AI, completing courses, or listing tools isn't enough. We want evidence of execution: a real objective, your personal contribution, the system or output you created, and the value it produced. Where work is confidential, a concise explanation of your approach is welcome.

What this role is — and isn't

• Open to technical and non-technical backgrounds — but not a role where tech gets left to someone else.
• Requires AI-assisted building and coding — but not production infrastructure or foundation-model training.
• Not research-only. Outputs must be useful, decision-ready, and delivered at the pace of a live environment.
• Not a back-seat position — you'll be in front of clients early, and your judgement will matter.
• Not an intro AI training ground for people who are interested in AI but haven't yet built anything with it.
