Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment and systems
- Support repairs and troubleshooting in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
- Help with maintenance tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, and fixture replacements
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Assist with the upkeep of tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear when required
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Front Office) to respond to service requests
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or engineering team
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related program
- Basic understanding of general maintenance work (electrical, plumbing, or mechanical knowledge is a plus)
- Willingness to learn and perform physical tasks
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and team player
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends or shift work
