Position : Senior Technical Business Analyst

Salary : RM 4,000 - RM 7,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst who bridges business needs and technical execution. This is not a traditional BA role focused only on requirement gathering who understands software engineering concepts, system architecture, and modern cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with Developers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable and technically sound solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and validate business and system requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
• Lead requirement workshops and facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate closely with Software Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners
• Analyze system impacts including data flows, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end processes
• Participate in solution design discussions and evaluate technical feasibility
• Develop user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices
• Support Agile delivery including sprint planning, grooming, and backlog refinement
• Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including issue resolution tracking
• Review technical solutions to ensure alignment with business goals and requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization
• Support cloud-related initiatives and contribute to AI-driven solution exploration and implementation

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data exchange concepts
• Good knowledge of application and system architecture fundamentals
• Experience working directly with software development teams in a technical BA or similar role
• Proficiency in C# and Python is highly preferred
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience in ERP implementation projects is an advantage
• Familiarity with SaaS product environments is a plus
• Exposure to AI or machine learning-related projects is an added advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with ability to bridge technical and business discussions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
