JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and delivering elevator and escalator installation projects. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards. The incumbent will also provide technical leadership to project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage elevator and escalator installation projects from award to handover.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, resources, and progress.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project costs, materials, and project documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Provide technical guidance to Project Engineers and Site Supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering experience.
- Experience in elevator/escalator installation projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of JKKP/DOSH regulations and Malaysian Standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office.
- Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to project sites.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Project planning and scheduling (Microsoft Project/Primavera).
- AutoCAD.
- Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Testing & commissioning of elevators.
- Cost control and project budgeting.
- Contract administration.
- Risk management.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
