We are looking for a full-time software engineer who is comfortable working on a live production platform and values code quality, security, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve an existing TypeScript (Node.js) codebase
• Able to develop new modules on existing project
• Fix bugs, improve stability, and support ongoing development
• Handle deployments and release processes
• Work with logs, error tracking, and performance monitoring
• Apply security best practices when handling user data

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in Software Development role
• Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript (backend-focused)
• Comfortable working with an existing system (no full rewrites)
• Experience supporting production systems
• Familiar with deployment workflows and rollback concepts
• Understanding of web security (auth, API security, OWASP basics) and able to enhance
• Able to write clear, maintainable code and documentation

Nice to have

• Experienced with SaaS or subscription-based platforms
• Strong DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, cloud environments)
• Familiarity with role-based access control and data protection concepts

Work arrangement

• Full-time only
• Location: Bandar Sunway (accessible by public transport)
• Hybrid arrangement may be considered
• You will work closely with the founder and operations team

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
