What this job involves
Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of technical engineering services at the client site, including end-to-end coordination of facility-related capital and operational projects
Oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, BMS, fire/life safety, and utility systems, ensuring seamless integration and execution of system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations through effective project coordination
Ensure comprehensive compliance with all applicable statutory regulations, industry standards, and client specific requirements across the entire site, integrating compliance into daily operations and all project-related activities.
Manage maintenance programs—preventive, predictive, and corrective—including contractor and vendor performance, scope definition, scheduling, budget tracking, and quality assurance for associated projects
Lead energy management, sustainability initiatives, and capital project coordination, acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders to align deliverables, timelines, and resources
Develop and mentor on-site engineering teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence in both operations and project execution
Prepare technical reports, KPIs, budgets, risk assessments, and project status updates for internal and client stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
Actively lead or participate in incident investigations, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions to enhance safety, operational reliability, and compliance
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Services or related discpline
Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership or team lead capacity
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or REW license is highly desirable
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, banking) is advantageous
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves regular communication with global stakeholders.
