Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Gamuda Land is a full-time, on-site position based in HQ, Damansara. This role supports day-to-day operations, including coordinating project activities, monitoring timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality and compliance standards. The Assistant Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to track budgets, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation for management review. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and implementation of initiatives, addressing operational issues, and contributing to process improvements. The role also involves stakeholder communication, supporting team members, and helping ensure that projects align with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and multiple ongoing activities.
  • Proficiency in business and operational analysis, with experience in reporting, documentation, and use of productivity tools (e.g., MS Office & Google Workspace).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process improvement and attention to detail.
  • Experience in property development, construction, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
