Role Description The Telecommunication Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems and networks to support client projects and internal operations. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and optimizing network components, monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, Sat testing and providing technical support to project teams and clients. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure network reliability, security, and scalability, as well as preparing technical documentation, reports, and recommendations. The engineer will also contribute to solution design for complex telecommunications challenges, including VoIP and data network integrations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Telecommunications Systems and Network Design skills for planning, configuring, and optimizing telecommunication infrastructures.
- System Integration.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with telecom and network monitoring tools, documentation, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, VoIP or network certifications) are an advantage.
- Experience in telecommunications projects within industries such as energy, government, or large enterprises is beneficial.
