Role Summary:

As an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in boot and BSP, you will develop and optimize bootloader and system initialization software for next-generation AI SoCs and edge computing platforms. Your work will ensure fast, stable, and reliable system startup, firmware management, and hardware bring-up for AI-enabled devices and intelligent edge systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deliver bootloader solutions including BootROM, BL2, BL31, U-Boot
  2. Develop and maintain firmware download, flashing, provisioning, and upgrade solutions for embedded platforms
  3. Optimize boot performance for fast startup and improve system stability, including restart and recovery mechanisms
  4. Support platform bring-up, productization, manufacturing deployment, and production software releases
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specs, manuals, and operational guides
  6. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to ensure smooth integration and system reliability


How You Will Stand Out:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or related fields,
  2. More than 5 years of experience in bootloader, system initialization, or firmware upgrade software
  3. Deep understanding of the ARM64 boot process
  4. Hands-on experience with ATF (ARM Trusted Firmware) and U-Boot
  5. Proficient with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other hardware debug tools
  6. Proven ability to optimize boot time, system stability, and firmware upgrade reliability
