Full-Time. Initial 3-Year Contract (Renewable)

Reporting To: Project Manager/Project Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join our team for a long-term Land Transport Authority (LTA) project focused on Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems. This role involves supervising and coordinating site activities including replacement, upgrading, testing, commissioning, and lifecycle management of PSD electronic and mechanical components.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of works in a live railway environment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Site Supervision: Coordinate and supervise daily site activities for PSD component replacement and installation.
  • Installation & Testing: Coordinate dismantling, alignment, adjustment, fault rectification & Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning works.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with LTA, SMRT, and railway safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, planning teams, and site personnel to ensure smooth execution.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, and work progress updates.
  • Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting, fault rectification, risk assessments, and method statement preparation.
  • Standby for Defect Liability Support


What We’re Looking For


  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in railway, MRT, E&M, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in LTA/MRT-related projects in Singapore preferred.
  • Familiarity with Platform Screen Door systems, CANbus networks, and railway operational constraints.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Extras


  • Experience in live operational railway environments.
  • Familiarity with LTA, SMRT, or SBS Transit procedures.
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and railway safety requirements.
