The client is located in Singapore, providing infant care services focused on nurturing and supporting infants aged 2 to 18 months in a safe, stimulating environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and patient Infant Care Assistant Teacher to support Infant Care Educarers in delivering quality care and developmental activities for infants aged 2 to 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Infant Care Educarers in delivering quality care that ensures infants’ safety, health, and well-being at all times
  • Perform daily caregiving tasks including feeding, diapering, bathing, toileting, and settling infants for naps to maintain comfort and hygiene
  • Support the implementation of age-appropriate developmental and learning activities to promote infants’ holistic growth
  • Prepare and organize learning materials to create a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observe infants’ behavior and developmental progress, and report findings to support individualized care plans
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of toys, equipment, and learning spaces in compliance with ECDA standards
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community
  • Assist with documentation and administrative duties to ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth centre operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Centre Leader to support centre functions

Required competencies and certifications

  • Eligible for registration as an Infant Care Assistant Educarer with ECDA

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Passionate about infant care and supporting holistic development
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and team members
  • Responsible, patient, and able to collaborate well within a team environment
  • Fresh applicants meeting ECDA eligibility or completing HCIC or ACEY training are encouraged to apply
