Role Description
We are seeking an analytical, creative, and technical Software Engineer / Developer to join our core engineering team in building high-performing, scalable, and resilient software applications. In this role, you will take ownership across the complete software development lifecycle—from technical scoping, system architecture design, and clean code implementation to unit testing, automated deployment, and continuous system maintenance. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, System Architects, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional business partners to convert strategic requirements into robust computational solutions. Responsibilities include writing maintainable, well-documented modular code, building and integrating RESTful/GraphQL APIs, debugging application performance bottlenecks, and maintaining database integrity. Additionally, you will participate in peer code reviews, contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization, and implement essential security and data privacy standards. Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative or technical discipline.
- Core Programming: Advanced proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented or functional programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go).
- Application Frameworks: Hands-on experience developing within modern web or application frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Express, Spring Boot, .NET, Django, or FastApi).
- Databases & Data Management: Expertise in designing, querying, and managing relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and exposure to NoSQL storage systems (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Software Architecture & Patterns: Strong foundation in core software engineering concepts, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), system design, microservices architecture, data structures, and algorithmic efficiency.
- Version Control & DevOps: Proficiency in version control best practices using Git/GitHub/GitLab, alongside familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience writing automated unit tests, integration tests, and using diagnostic tools to debug complex software issues across various environments.
- Analytical & Technical Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and diagnostic skills, with a proven ability to break complex system problems into modular, maintainable technical solutions.
- Agile Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working in dynamic, team-based Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks, leveraging tracking software like Jira or GitHub Projects.
