Job Description

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To ensure that students are supervised all times and that their safety and security are taken care of during student care hours;  

  • To ensure that the classroom has an environment that is clean and conducive to work in at all times;  

  • To be familiar with a student's medical conditions and dietary restrictions;   

  • To carry out the student care programme according to the plans and schedules set out by the General Manager;   

  • To facilitate social interactions among students and provide support and encouragement should a need arise;  

  • To work with the General Manager to deliver quality lesson content to students;   

  • To liaise with parents and guardians regularly regarding the student’s progress and behaviour;  

  • To maintain all administrative duties assigned;  

  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by the General Manager from time to time.   

Activities to support the Lorna Whiston Brand

  • To be an ambassador for Lorna Whiston Schools.
  • To build a strong and positive rapport with students and parents that encourages customer confidence, student retention and customer loyalty.
  • To participate in company marketing initiatives and events and activities that are organized or supported by LWS.
  • To participate in school meetings and parent-teacher meetings.
  • To liaise with colleagues on areas requiring collaboration, and to work flexibly and willingly for the good of the Company.
  • To establish effective and professional working relationships and set a good example through personal presentation and professional conduct.


Working Hours

  • Monday to Fridays 1.00pm to 7.00pm (during MOE Term Schedule & adhoc school holidays)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience preferred.
