Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

• Source ingredients and packaging by identifying suppliers, comparing quotes, and issuing purchase orders.
• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely deliveries that match production schedules.

Supplier & Inventory Management

• Maintain vendor records, evaluate supplier performance, and resolve delivery or quality issues quickly.
• Manage inventory levels, perform stock counts, and coordinate stock rotation to reduce waste.

Cost Control & Compliance

• Negotiate prices and payment terms to achieve cost savings while protecting quality standards.
• Ensure suppliers meet food safety and regulatory requirements and keep certificates and documents up to date.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within Food and Beverage or a related operational setting.
• Diploma or degree in business, supply chain, hospitality, or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Purchasing experience with strong vendor management and purchase order processes.
• Proven negotiation skills, inventory control, and basic cost analysis ability.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or inventory management systems.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can coordinate between kitchens, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritise in a fast but steady kitchen environment.
• Collaborative mindset and a practical approach to problem solving.
