As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. You will be part of a data team in APAC, while being connected within a larger international network of 300+ data practitioners.
Main Responsibilities
- Business Partnership: Be a thought partner for the business to define, challenge, and frame high-value business problems and translate them into data analysis requests and projects
- End-to-end Execution: Drive the end-to-end execution of small and large data requests, data automation, analysis and dashboarding projects, from definition over technical implementation to presentation
- Solution Design: Design and implement data solutions, including automated tools, interactive dashboards etc.
- Project Management: Provide on regular project- and data request-management tasks
- Data Culture: Champion data democratization across the company by contributing to our global Decathlon data community and actively enabling business partners to leverage self-service analytics
Must Have
- Experience: 1 - 2 years of prior experience in data analytical roles, with a demonstrated track record of delivering data analytics solutions with clear, measurable business impact.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Essential capability to query using SQL and proficiency in Python programming language, with the ability to write modular, well-documented, and scalable code.
- Data Visualization: Dashboarding, visualization, and storytelling skills.
- Core Capabilities: Strong communication and conceptual problem-solving skills, with a relentless business focus and drive for impact.
- AI Exposure: Understanding and early hands-on exposure to Generative AI tools, including prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding, and insight generation.
Nice To Have
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., Databricks, AWS).
- Experience in Data Modeling & Analytics Engineering (e.g., dbt).
- Experience in DevOps and workflow tools like Git, GitHub Actions, and Airflow.
