The Project / Construction Manager to oversee interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager acts as the central point of coordination, providing clear and consistent updates to senior management and stakeholders while managing all aspects of project execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from planning to closeout, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Lead site mobilization and logistics planning, ensuring all documentation systems are in place.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, manage permits, and oversee construction adherence.
- Oversea and coordinate resource management: labor, equipment, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor safety protocols and conduct regular quality inspections.
- Control project budgets, track costs, and manage site material inventory effectively.
- Provide regular, clear communication and progress reports to management and clients.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve project challenges promptly.
- Ensure smooth project handover with complete documentation and client communication.
- Must be willing to be stationed at outstation locations if required for project execution.
- Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related field.
- Preferably minimum 5 years of working experience in the interior design, fit-out, or renovation industry, or a related field is required for this position.
- Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hardworking and can work independently.
- Willing to travel and preferably willing to work outstation as and when is required. Working location varies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
