Job summary

To provide support to existing teams, to maintain existing residential and commercial properties, vacant or tenanted. The candidate must be prepared to also travel for similar duties in Seri Gombak as and when necessary.

Job responsibilities:

• To always keep rental property assets in tenantable condition. Vacated units shall be restored or reinstated to a condition deem ready to receive new tenants. Reported defects by existing tenants are to be assessed and rectified within a reasonable time. This shall also include coordinating periodic cleaning.
• Vacant units shall be regularly maintained and inspected. They shall generally be clean and visually free from major defects for internal marketing use or third-party property agents. Critical defects shall be reported and addressed quickly as per department guidelines and procedures.
• Monitoring equipment, tools, machinery and materials regularly to ensure maintenance team has the support for carrying out rectification and/or maintenance works as and when required. You shall report to immediate supervisor accordingly for any necessary procurement to prevent delays to any work where possible.
• You shall also be required to assist with vacant land asset inspection and maintenance as and when required. This includes but is not limited to general small trees trimming, grass cutting, clearing of existing drains as and when necessary to minimize risk to public safety.
• Basic record processes of the above shall be maintained for traceability and review for improvements
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:-

Education & Qualification

• Pass in SPM
• Building Operation & Maintenance Handyman Course from CIDB or other recognized institutions.
• Other relevant skill certification

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

• Possesses experience in handling machinery and tools such as chainsaw, grass cutter, pumps.
• Have managed commercial properties or building defects and rectifications
• Part of team handling defect rectifications during the Defect Liability Period.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

• Handyman skill training in plumbing, electrical or other construction or renovation trade is preferable.
• Possessing a valid GDL license is an added advantage

Competencies

• Able to recognize, recommend and implement methods holistically, taking into consideration effectiveness and cost. He should be able to work independently when necessary and importantly, a team player contributing to the success of the department and company.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
