Finance Executive – Full Set Accounts

Salary: RM3,000 – RM3,500 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Finance Executive to handle full-set accounts and support the company’s daily finance operations.

The ideal candidate should have good accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail and preferably experience in the engineering, construction, infrastructure or project-based industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable in fast paced enroment
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor customer collections, supplier payments and outstanding balances.
• Prepare and maintain proper invoices, payment documents, purchase orders and supporting records.
• Assist in cash-flow monitoring and payment planning.
• Allocate expenses and costs accurately to the respective projects.
• Assist in preparing project profit and loss reports.
• Review staff claims, subcontractor claims and supplier invoices.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded and documented.
• Assist with SST documentation and statutory submissions where required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Assist with year-end audit and tax matters.
• Support the implementation and daily use of Zoho Books and other finance systems.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s finance procedures and internal controls.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Able to handle full-set accounts with minimum supervision.
• Experience in engineering, construction, telecommunications, infrastructure or project-based companies will be an advantage in fast paced SME construction industry.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, cash flow and project costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience using SQL/ERP or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with finance, purchasing, project and operations teams.
