Position Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in delivering day-to-day HR operations while gaining hands-on experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration and HR projects. This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to the full employee lifecycle and develop a strong foundation in human resources.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with posting job advertisements on recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interviews and application status.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Prepare onboarding documents and welcome packs.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities.
- Assist in ensuring employee records are complete and up to date.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation.
- Assist with HR data entry and record management.
- Prepare HR letters, forms, and other administrative documents.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times.
HR Projects
- Support ongoing HR initiatives such as employee recognition, wellness programmes, policy reviews, or process improvements.
- Assist with HR data collection, reporting, and presentation preparation.
- Conduct research on HR best practices when required.
Compliance & Other Duties
- Support HR compliance activities in accordance with company policies and employment legislation.
- Perform other HR-related duties and projects assigned by the HR team.
Requirements
- A minimum Diploma in any field is required for this role.
- Available for a full-time internship for six (6) months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

By the end of the internship, the successful candidate will have gained practical experience in:

Pay: RM900.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
