Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analysis on renewable energy samples (biodiesel, UCO, POME, PAO, feedstocks), and related bio-based materials using prescribed standard laboratory test methods, techniques and instruments.
- Interpret and report test results accurately and in a timely manner based on internationally recognized methods (EN, ISO, ASTM, AOCS). Maintain comprehensive and traceable records of all analyses performed.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and traceable results, recognizing that analysis directly supports product quality delivered to clients.
- Maintain detailed and reliable records; complete reports with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 17025, GLP, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Take ownership of test integrity and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory performance.
- Understand and keep updated with all laboratory safety, reporting techniques and analysis methods.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Science / Chemistry or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in renewables, biofuels, or commercial laboratory settings is an added advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity — accuracy of results is critical to business success.
- Ability to understand and apply EN / ISO / ASTM / AOCS standards and procedures.
- Must be able to work with biodiesel, renewable feedstock oils, chemical reagents, and related green energy products.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, while managing multiple analyses and tasks concurrently with diverse timelines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy is required, with meticulous attention to analytical detail.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Must have a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Ability to adapt to Good Lab Practice (GLP) and continuous quality improvement standards.
- Demonstrates initiative to maintain laboratory organization and housekeeping before and after work.
- Position requires a dependable, reliable, and accountable individual whose daily contribution supports the operational success of the laboratory and its clients.
- Required to work under a rotating 9-hour shift.
