BA/PM - Finance

The BA/PM - Finance joins a leading global bank, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of business and regulatory projects within the finance division. The role plays a crucial part in supporting the bank’s compliance and operational objectives in a dynamic environment.

Our client is a major financial institution headquartered in Europe, operating in over 60 countries with a broad spectrum of banking and investment services.

Role overview
The incumbent will oversee end-to-end project implementation, focusing on finance system transformations, regulatory compliance, and process automation. They will act as both a Business Analyst and Project Manager, bridging finance requirements with IT solutions and managing project life cycles. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the APAC region is essential to ensure timely project delivery and operational excellence.

Key Skills & Experience

• Lead the delivery of finance projects in line with strategic goals
• Source, transform, and ensure quality reporting data
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and communication
• Drive ledger transformation initiatives and process automation
• Support regulatory reporting and system upgrades effectively
• Assess project feasibility, develop plans, and monitor progress

Nice to Have

• Experience with IFRS accounting treatments, especially regarding financial instruments
• Familiarity with front-to-back operations and financial products
• CPA or PMP qualification

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of finance-related projects, from initiation to closure
• Act as liaison between finance requirements and IT development teams
• Develop project scope documents, schedules, and risk mitigation plans
• Design and validate test cases, manage UAT processes, and ensure successful go-live
• Provide post-implementation support and manage production incidents
• Coordinate with IT, finance, and operations teams across regions to ensure project alignment

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK and the required visa status
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance project delivery within financial institutions
• Strong project management skills, ideally PMP qualified
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL
• Experience in Asia Contract employment and on-site working environment required
