Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze business needs to understand their requirements.
• Evaluate software packages.
• Conduct testing, installation, maintenance and modification of computer programs.
• Design application software and develop functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure the development works follow department standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the software development progress is in accordance to the schedule
• Participate in program development when necessary to meet the predefined development schedule.
• Provide technical support to maintain the smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.
