We’re Hiring: Senior QA/QC Engineer

Unipati Concrete Sdn.Bhd. is looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to drive quality standards, product innovation, and continuous improvement.

Job Purpose

Provide experienced quality assurance support to the product development team, resolving quality issues, and other issues and ensuring the products meet customer specifications and standard compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for Quality Management System 1S*************:2015. Communicating to the organization the importance of meeting customer as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
• Reviews process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and ensure implementation as per 1SO 9001:2015, MS EN 206:2016 and CIS 21:2018.
• Ensures that products meet the organizations and customers' quality and product integrity requirements by submission of the optimized mix designs.
• Develop R&Ds for special requirements products, collaboration products, value-added products and more. Analyse the results and cost, and present findings to interested parties.
• Identify root causes of problems in the production process, raw materials, and end products; recommend and/or implement corrective measures for the customers.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams and to perform quality audits on processes.
• Review the quality of all materials at the plant and ensure compliance with all specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all materials and maintain the quality of materials.
• Analyse data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects.
• Compiles training materials and conducts technical training for all QC and new UPC staff yearly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the ready-mix concrete or construction industry, with strong knowledge of production processes and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with developers, project managers, and customer support.
