Job Description

• Drive the technical/system requirements lifecycle from abstract product vision through to detailed system and technical requirements.
• Support the Functional BA in translating high-level product vision and initiatives into detailed technical/system requirements for developers in collaboration with platform architects.
• Develop technical specifications, document system interactions, and define detailed acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Support development and testing activities by providing technical clarification and conducting defect triage where required.
• Maintain complete requirement traceability and ensure alignment with change management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Requirement Refinement and Elaboration

• Refine and elaborate back-end user stories for specific systems and platforms based on agreed technical requirements.
• Ensure stories adhere to client-prescribed formats and contain sufficient detail and acceptance criteria for development estimation and implementation.
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all technical documentation and user stories.
• Participate actively in Sprint Planning sessions with Product Owners, Tribe Leads, Functional BAs, and squad members.
• Consult Solution Architects to validate and clarify technical and system requirements.

Defect Triage

• Conduct defect triage in consultation with the Functional BA and relevant stakeholders as required.

Requirement Traceability and Change Management

• Compile and maintain final technical requirements documentation.
• Ensure complete traceability from business requirements through implementation and change management processes.

Skills Required

• Good understanding of digital banking products, system interactions, and retail banking.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context.
• Ability to evaluate and analyze existing technical system interactions and uncover areas for improvement.
• Ability to envision and design end-to-end system solutions while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and identify how process design changes might impact downstream system interactions.
• Ability to gather critical technical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate and clarify system/technical requirements with developers, testers, and stakeholders across business, operations, and technology functions.
• Ability to identify and clearly document system dependencies.
• Excellent technical, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile delivery environment, adopting Agile methodologies and tools.
