Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

· Promote Straits Financial and its products and services

· Develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth

· Broker energy products with a focus on pricing accuracy, liquidity, and efficient execution

· Analyse energy markets, price movements, and volatility to support trading and hedging decisions

· Monitor positions, exposures, and market developments in real time

· Ensure accurate trade capture, reporting, and regulatory compliance

· Support AML/KYC onboarding processes and attend required regulatory training

· Contribute to product development, market expansion, and trading strategy discussions

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline

· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 year in commodity/energy broking or derivatives preferred

OR

· Polytechnic Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking and finance or work experience on bank dealing floors

· Ideally licensed to trade futures/securities in Singapore (CMFAS Modules 2A and/or 6A preferred)

· Strong client relationship management skills, including business development and client servicing

· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment

· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

· Fluency in Mandarin required due to client base

· Team-oriented, energetic, and willing to work extended hours when required
