Our client is a leading global quantitative investment firm renowned for leveraging advanced technology, data, and quantitative research to drive systematic trading strategies across global financial markets. As part of its continued investment in cutting-edge trading platforms, the firm is expanding its Core Pricing and Risk Technology team to support high- performance, real-time pricing and risk systems that power its global trading operations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer to join a highly visible technology team responsible for building and enhancing the firm's core pricing and risk platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working on high-performance distributed systems, and collaborating closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and risk managers in a fast-paced front-office environment.

This role is based in Hong Kong. To ensure a smooth transition for the right candidate, comprehensive relocation support and benefits will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Platform Development: Design, develop, and enhance high-throughput, low- latency services running on Linux to support the firm's core pricing and risk platform.
• Pricing & Risk Engineering: Integrate, maintain, and optimize pricing models used for real-time and end-of-day risk calculations across multiple asset classes.
• Distributed Systems Development: Build and support scalable services across the firm's trading ecosystem, including order management, trade processing, position management, product reference, and market data platforms.
• Front Office Collaboration: Partner closely with quantitative developers, pricing quants, traders, risk managers, and operations teams to design and deliver robust technology solutions that directly support trading activities.
• Performance Optimization: Develop high-performance applications primarily using modern C++ and Python, focusing on scalability, low latency, multithreading, and distributed computing.
• Business Engagement: Work directly with trading desks and risk management teams to understand business requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve the platform.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing front-office or middle-office trading systems within financial services.
• Strong expertise in modern C/C++, STL, and Linux-based development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing multithreaded, distributed, and high performance systems.
• Solid understanding of Linux, GCC toolchain, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• environments.
• Experience with pricing models or risk calculation systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Futures, Options, and Swaps is
• preferred.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle, execution workflows, settlement, corporate actions or other capital markets processes is advantageous.
• Exposure to distributed network architectures; experience with GUI frameworks (Qt/WX/MFC) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
