Job Summary
The position is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, and foreign worker administration while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Sourcing
- Proactively source candidates through job portals, walk-in recruitment, referrals, and social media.
- Organize walk-in interview days and recruitment campaigns.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to avoid manpower shortages.
- Work closely with Retail Operations to forecast staffing needs for each outlet.
- Ensure vacancies are filled quickly to maintain operational efficiency.
Training & Learning Development
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
- Plan, organise, and administer internal and external training programmes in collaboration with department heads.
- Coordinate mandatory operational, food safety, customer service, and compliance training to ensure employees meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain training records, attendance, certifications, and training matrices.
- Identify training needs together with department heads and support the implementation of annual training plans.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and post-training follow-up, and recommend continuous improvements.
Workforce & Attendance Management
- Support the implementation and improvement of staff attendance and time-tracking systems.
- Monitor attendance records and identify patterns of absenteeism or lateness.
- Recommend solutions to improve workforce attendance control and reporting.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly updates on recruitment progress, manpower status, and vacancies.
- Track hiring sources and recruitment effectiveness.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, preferably within the Hospitality, Retail, or Service industry.
- Proven experience in recruiting high-volume frontline roles, particularly for Retail or F&B operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- Good knowledge of foreign worker recruitment processes and experience working with licensed recruitment agencies.
- Strong networking, candidate sourcing, and talent attraction capabilities.
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment within tight timelines.
- Familiarity with attendance, workforce management, or HRIS systems is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
