Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Develop, review, and enhance curriculum, course materials, assessments, and learning resources in Cybersecurity and related disciplines.
• Incorporate industry-relevant practices, emerging technologies, and professional standards into teaching delivery.
• Supervise final-year projects, internships, and postgraduate research students.
• Contribute to student mentoring, academic advising, and retention initiatives.

Research and Scholarly Activities

• Conduct impactful research in Cybersecurity and related fields.
• Publish research outputs in reputable indexed journals and conferences.
• Secure research grants and establish collaborative research projects.
• Participate in knowledge transfer, consultancy, and innovation activities.

Academic Leadership and Service

• Contribute to programme accreditation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in faculty committees, academic administration, and university activities.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with industry, professional bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Support faculty development initiatives and mentor junior academic staff where appropriate.

Requirements:

• PhD in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant academic, research, or industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching at tertiary education level.
• Strong record of research publications and scholarly activities.
• Experience in supervising undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
