Title: Field Operations Engineer - Submarine Cable Landing Stations

Work Location: Singapore

Visa Type: Singaporeans & PR Holder

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience

Region to Support: APAC

Tech Skills: Operations and maintenance support of network equipment - DWDM/SDH/Ethernet/IP/MPLS, Transmission Equipment, Submarine Cable Landing Stations’ SLTEs.

Notice Period: 0-30 days preferred

Key Qualification & Experience Required

• 4-6 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

• Good understanding and working knowledge of SDH, DWDM / Submarine cable system operations, Ethernet technologies and structured cabling. Should have used and be familiar with SDH/DWDM, Ethernet, OTDR, COTDR network testing equipment.

• Networks Project Implementation, migration of circuits/equipment experience.

• A fast learner with multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure and perform given task with minimal to no supervision.

• Possess analytical and troubleshooting skills and knowledge that allows you to adapt effectively in dealing with unfamiliar issues, challenges and problems.
