Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise-wide rollout and adoption of the Data Governance Framework and associated policies, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate and present at governance committee meetings to ensure alignment, oversight, and timely decision-making.
- Define and maintain enterprise data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structure across domains (Customer, Product, Finance, Risk, HR).
- Oversee metadata management, data classification, and lifecycle standards to strengthen data transparency and traceability.
- Partner with Group Risk, Compliance, IT, and business units to embed governance controls into business processes and digital initiatives.
- Ensure Data Governance policies remain compliant with internal and regulatory requirements, coordinating periodic reviews and refresh cycles.
- Promote a data-driven culture through awareness, onboarding, and training programs for Data Owners, Stewards, and key stakeholders.
- Report governance performance, emerging issues, and remediation progress to senior management and governance committee meetings.
