The position also includes developing and managing annual budgets, preparing financial forecasts, conducting variance analysis, monitoring departmental expenditures, and supporting strategic business planning. The successful candidate will collaborate with department leaders to establish financial objectives, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial plans align with organizational goals and growth strategies.

Additional responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury operations, fixed asset management, payroll coordination, tax compliance, and financial reconciliations. The candidate will establish and strengthen internal control frameworks, manage financial risks, support audit activities, coordinate regulatory reporting, and ensure all financial processes operate efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will lead financial analysis initiatives by evaluating investment opportunities, assessing business performance, conducting profitability analysis, preparing financial models, and supporting mergers, acquisitions, business expansion, and capital investment projects where applicable. The role also includes monitoring key financial performance indicators, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, and recommending strategies that improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

The individual will work closely with executive leadership, operations, procurement, human resources, sales, and external stakeholders to provide strategic financial guidance and support organizational decision-making. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting processes, and governance practices by implementing best practices, leveraging technology, and promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment are essential for success in this leadership role.

This position offers the opportunity to drive financial strategy, strengthen business performance, support organizational growth, and contribute to long-term success through effective financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
