We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading multinational organisation, for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the Accounts Payable team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily AP operations, supporting invoice processing, resolving complex issues, and driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Accounts Payable operations and ensure timely and accurate invoice and payment processing.
• Support the team with daily operational activities and issue resolution.
• Monitor KPIs, backlogs, and month-end activities to achieve service level targets.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, and operational efficiency.
• Coach and develop the AP team while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, and IT to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, company policies, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of Accounts Payable experience in an MNC or Shared Services environment.
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or a similar ERP system.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI/Power Query is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: Up to RM7,500 per month (depending on experience).
