About the Company

HRnetGroup is the largest Asia-based recruitment group outside Japan, listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX). With a strong cash position, steady growth and consistent dividends, the Group operates across 10 jurisdictions and 19 cities in Asia-Pacific.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Kuala Lumpur, reporting into our Singapore headquarters. This is not a pure consolidation desk — you will own a full set of accounts while driving group consolidation, giving you both operational depth and strong stakeholder credibility.

What makes this role different

Regional scope and technical depth — you will handle consolidation across 10 jurisdictions, 19 cities and 40+ entities, including 47 complex co-ownership and minority interest structures, a genuine step up in technical exposure.

Full-cycle exposure — you stay close to operations through full-set ownership while driving group consolidation, building both depth and breadth rather than sitting purely on the reporting side.

Stable platform with clear progression — exposure to half-year and annual SGX reporting and Annual Report preparation, with a proven internal progression path (e.g. Accountant to Head of Finance in approximately 8 years).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage group consolidation across multiple subsidiaries — management and statutory reporting
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation and elimination
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports
  • Support preparation of the Group Annual Report and SGX announcements
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with SFRS, IFRS and group policies
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary, and support the statutory audit process
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Handle tax filings and statutory compliance matters

Requirements

  • ACCA, CPA or MICPA qualified, or near-completion
  • 3–6 years of experience in audit or in-house group reporting — open to fresh Big 4 / Big 10 auditors looking to transition in-house
  • Working knowledge of IFRS / MFRS and multi-entity group consolidation
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (reporting into Singapore HQ and working with regional stakeholders)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

What We Offer

  • Direct exposure to SGX-listed group reporting and Annual Report preparation
  • Clear career progression within a regional finance team
  • A collaborative, stable and growing work environment
