Role Description

The Chargeman BO is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of building electrical systems and related equipment at Parkland Group’s facilities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Taman Kota Syahbandar and involves monitoring high- and low-voltage electrical installations, performing routine inspections, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance work. The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant electrical regulations and safety standards, supervising contractors and service providers, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and incidents. The Chargeman BO will also support energy efficiency initiatives, respond to electrical faults or emergencies, and collaborate with the property management team to minimize downtime and maintain reliable building operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman BO certification and relevant professional license from the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Hands-on experience with operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high- and low-voltage electrical systems in commercial or residential properties.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to electrical emergencies and system breakdowns.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with management, contractors, and other technical staff.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, record-keeping, and using maintenance management systems.
• Willingness to work on-site in Taman Kota Syahbandar, including occasional extended or weekend hours as operational needs require.
• Previous experience in property development or building facilities management is an advantage.
