Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator to support the WSH Manager in implementing safety and health measures across 2 operational yards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections and safety checks to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work procedures to reduce workplace risks
Support compliance with Work At Height (WAH) requirements, Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, and other high-risk work activities to maintain safety standards
Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and worker engagement sessions to promote safety awareness and participation
Assist in investigating incidents and near misses, documenting findings, and following up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Maintain and update safety records and checklists to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
Support the implementation of Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and the WSH Management System to enhance workplace safety
Assist during authorities’ inspections and client audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating compliance checks
Required competencies and certifications
Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or equivalent
Certification in Managing Work at Height or equivalent
Own transport and ability to travel between operational yards as required
Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience
