Aftermeal Cafe Hiring! Full Time Cake - Pastry Chef in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 4,200 - Ricebowl

• Minimum 2 years of professional cake or pastry production experience 
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Strong practical knowledge of cake preparation, baking, assembly and finishing 
• Able to reproduce products consistently in larger quantities 
• Willing to receive feedback and refine products collaboratively 
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail 
• Experience in central-kitchen or commercial production is an advantage 
• Formal pastry qualifications are helpful but not compulsory

Aftermeal is looking for an experienced Cake & Pastry Chef to help us develop and produce a consistent range of cakes for our outlets.

We are not expecting you to create everything from scratch. We are looking for someone with strong practical experience who can confidently execute cakes and pastries they have mastered, then work closely with management to refine the flavour, texture, presentation and cost for Aftermeal.

• Prepare and produce cakes, pastries and desserts consistently 
• Apply your existing cake and pastry knowledge to develop products suitable for Aftermeal
• Conduct product trials and refine recipes together with management 
• Adjust sweetness, texture, presentation and portion size based on feedback 
• Standardise recipes, production methods and portioning 
• Maintain consistent quality across every production batch 
• Monitor ingredient usage, yield, wastage and product shelf life 
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety 
• Train production assistants once recipes are finalised
