Context and Main Missions;
The person will support the execution of the production quality activities to ensure that the LEM Malaysia products and services are conform to technical specifications, performed reliably, and meet internal and external quality expectations, and comply with all relevant standards, regulations, licenses, and certifications. The person will report solid line to Production Quality Manager.
Key accountabilities;
- Ensure production quality achievement and performance improvement, within the scope of the person authorizations.
- Ensure that the local production site meets all Production quality objectives and that the organization supplies adequate standards of service to customers.
- Elaborate and implement quality control procedures and instructions.
- Follow-up and coordinate the elaboration of corrective action plans linked to internal or external non-conformities.
- Participate in new product or process development and validation, including change in the existing process, transfer of products or new supplier validation.
- Support the problem-solving process in case of customer’s claim.
- Execute workstation and manufacturing process audits.
- Provide the necessary feedback in case of quality issues (8D). Participate to QRQC.
- Coordinate the root-cause analysis and scrap level of the production lines under position scope of responsibilities.
- Support Production manager to deploy group policy and best practices.
Skills and professional background;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Quality function in an industrial and automotive production site.
- Experience in supplier quality management would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO TS16949.
- Good practice of quality tools and problem-solving methods: 8D, PDCA, SPC, Gage R&R, etc.
- Very good knowledge of English language and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team worker with excellent communication skills.
- Good business sense and high customer orientation.
- University degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
