About The Job
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Architecture & Technical Consulting
- Define SAP Basis / platform architecture, standards, and roadmaps (S/4HANA, HANA, SAP BTP, cloud) and act as technical design authority for platform decisions.
- Advise projects and stakeholders; challenge the as-is and drive standardization, automation, and cost efficiency.
Managed Service Partner Management (major)
- Steer managed service partners (SAP ECS, 3rd party MSP) that run day-to-day Basis operations; define, monitor, and enforce SLAs.
- Own governance, escalations, and accountability for delivery quality, and coordinate handovers, changes, and major incidents.
Technology Evaluation & Innovation (major)
- Continuously scan, evaluate, and pilot new SAP, BTP, and cloud technologies, including AI-assisted operations and automation.
- Run PoCs and make adoption recommendations aligned with architecture and cost.
Operational Oversight (minor)
- Provide 2nd/3rd-level guidance; routine hands-on Basis execution is delegated to managed service partners.
About You
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- University degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years plus experience in SAP Basis architecture / platform consulting and partner management
- Deep technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing external service providers and ensuring SLA adherence and operational excellence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a passion for automation, innovation, and emerging technologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions across multiple teams
