Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. This position is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, website traffic, and overall online visibility. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing on-page optimization, managing link building initiatives, and carrying out regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical and content-related issues. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, coordinating with content and marketing teams, and supporting social media marketing efforts to align with broader digital campaigns. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into all web and marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO, with the ability to identify opportunities and optimize content for search visibility.
• Experience in Link Building and SEO Audits to enhance domain authority and maintain technically sound, search-friendly websites.
• Working knowledge of Social Media Marketing to support integrated digital strategies and reinforce SEO efforts.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research platforms) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present clear performance reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Relevant experience in SEO or digital marketing; a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field is advantageous.
• Demonstrated willingness to keep up-to-date with search engine trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
