Strategics Planning & Asset Management:
- Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all hotel equipment and facilities.
- Manage the full lifecycle of all hotel assets, from acquisition and installation through maintenance, replacement, and disposal, ensuring optimal performance and value.
- Maintain a comprehensive asset register with detailed records of equipment, including purchase dates, warranty information, service history, and estimated lifespan.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues to implement sustainable, long-term solutions and prevent future failures.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, sustainable solutions, energy-efficient equipment, and industry best practices to continuously improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to equipment failure and facility issues, developing robust contingency plans for critical systems.
Operations & Technical Supervision:
- Create, schedule, and delegate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks and projects to the maintenance team.
- Supervise maintenance workers, ensuring strict adherence to safe work practices, established procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform routine and specialized inspections of all hotel facilities and equipment to identify areas requiring maintenance, repair, or upgrades.
- Oversee and ensure all equipment and appliances undergo periodic inspections and remain in optimal working condition.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs, serving as an on-call resource when required.
- Execute electrical wiring, programming, basic construction, and reconfigure room arrangements (including tables, seating, and stages) according to blueprints, layout diagrams, and event schedules.
- Assist the Maintenance Department in achieving seamless operation of production machinery and meeting established machine downtime targets.
Financial Management & Procurement:
- Develop, manage, and adhere to the annual maintenance budget, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising on quality, safety, or guest experience.
- Control and monitor inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and supplies, implementing efficient procurement processes.
- Participate in the recruitment of maintenance crew members and negotiate favorable vendor and contractor contracts for specialized repairs and projects.
- Proactively obtain and meticulously compare price quotations from multiple suppliers for all parts, consumables, tools, equipment, and contracted services to ensure best value and cost-effectiveness.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
