Job Summary
The Electrical Technician installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical control systems, plant utilities, and automated machinery. This role focuses on keeping automated dosing systems, production line sensors, factory lighting, and electrical distribution networks running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Thermal & Sensor Controls: Diagnose faults in oven heating elements, thermocouples, PID controllers, and weight-dosing scales.
- PLC & Packaging Support: Monitor PLC ladder logic to fix automated mixing errors; service fast-moving flow wrappers, metal detectors, and checkweighers.
- Factory Electrical Infrastructure: Troubleshoot and maintain factory lighting, emergency power systems, air compressors, and main distribution boards (MDB).
- Utility Management: Inspect and service boiler electrical controls, water chillers, and wastewater treatment pump panels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local energy regulations and workplace safety standards in a high-dust environment.
Requirements
- Education: Certified Wireman license, or a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Experience: 2+ years of industrial electrical experience, including factory facility electrical systems.
- Skills: Expert ability to read electrical schematics, program VFDs, and safely isolate high-voltage power lines.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
