Site & Warehouse Manager

Department: Project Management / Operations
Reports To: Project Manager
Supports: Design & Build Executive Director

Job Summary

The Site & Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing construction site activities, warehouse operations, inventory, and company facilities to support Design & Build projects. The role ensures work is completed safely, on time, and according to approved drawings and Company standards. The role also manages the receiving, storage, movement, and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment for project sites and the carpentry workshop. Working closely with Project Managers, Designers, Procurement, Site Teams, Suppliers, and Contractors, the Site & Warehouse Manager ensures smooth operations, accurate inventory, and efficient coordination from project start to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily construction activities and site operations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and schedules.
  • Resolve site issues and coordinate with the design and project teams.
  • Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with Company standards.
  • Manage warehouse, workshop, and facility operations.
  • Receive, store, issue, and dispatch materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
  • Coordinate material deliveries between suppliers, warehouse, workshop, and project sites.
  • Ensure the warehouse, workshop, and facilities are clean, organised, secure, and well maintained.
  • Prepare site reports, inventory reports, and operational records.
  • Support project completion, material reconciliation, and final handover.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Projects completed safely and on schedule.
  • High-quality work with minimal defects.
  • Accurate inventory records and stock control.
  • Timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Clean, organised, and well-maintained warehouse and facilities.
  • Accurate site and inventory documentation.
  • Compliance with Company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Successful project handover with minimal outstanding issues.

Requirements

  • STPM, Diploma, or Degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent site experience).
  • At least 4 years in construction or site coordination, M&E or C&S; knowledge of safety and technical drawings is a plus.
  • Responsible, reliable, safety-conscious, proactive, and disciplined. Demonstrates a positive attitude, takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn, accept feedback, and complete training to meet the Company's standards.
  • Language communication: English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM, occasional Saturdays 9-12pm; may work some weekends due to construction progress
  • Amenable to work in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
