JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Capability Development

• Design, develop, and facilitate sales, product, customer experience, and professional development programs.
• Conduct training needs analysis and identify capability gaps across sales teams and channels.
• Develop training curricula, facilitator guides, participant materials, assessments, and supporting learning resources.
• Ensure training content remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with business priorities and sales strategies.

Learning Design & Facilitation

• Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and blended learning programs using adult learning principles and best practices.
• Facilitate workshops, role plays, simulations, and experiential learning activities to maximize learner engagement and knowledge retention.
• Act as a facilitator, presenter, or emcee for sales conventions, kick-offs, town halls, recognition events, and employee engagement activities.
• Be willing to travel occasionally within Malaysia and to regional locations to conduct training programs and support business initiatives as required.

Soft Skills & Professional Development

• Design and facilitate learning solutions that strengthen workplace effectiveness, professional growth, and sales performance.
• Support capability development through training, coaching, feedback, and performance improvement interventions.
• Drive behavioral change and learning application through effective facilitation and reinforcement strategies.

Coaching & Performance Support

• Provide individual and group coaching to sales representatives, team leaders, and managers.
• Partner with business leaders to improve coaching effectiveness and learning transfer.
• Conduct post-training follow-ups and performance support initiatives to reinforce capability development.

Digital Learning & Innovation

• Create and manage e-learning modules, microlearning content, learning videos, and other interactive digital learning solutions.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, and learning technologies to enhance learner engagement, productivity, and learning effectiveness.
• Drive innovation in learning delivery through digital, mobile, and self-directed learning approaches.

Stakeholder Management & Learning Effectiveness

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Customer Experience, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business objectives.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback, assessments, observations, business performance metrics, and capability outcomes.
• Analyze learning data and recommend continuous improvements to learning programs and interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Psychology, Education, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Training, Learning & Development, Capability Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and facilitating sales and soft skills training programs.
• Experience coaching frontline teams and leaders to drive performance improvement.
• Strong background in adult learning, facilitation, instructional design, and learning evaluation.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Experience in telecommunications, media, subscription-based services, FMCG, financial services, or related industries is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will be highly preferred:

• Certified Professional Trainer (CPT)
• HRD Corp Accredited Trainer
• Train-the-Trainer Certification
• Other recognized certifications in training, coaching, facilitation, leadership development, behavioral assessments, or learning and development
