Job Summary

The Purchasing Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, components, and services required for production and business operations. The role involves supplier management, cost negotiation, inventory coordination, and ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor order status until delivery is complete.
• Ensure materials are delivered on time to avoid production interruptions.
• Coordinate with production, Warehouse and QA departments on material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchase materials according to production forecasts.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, and shortages.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (PCB/Electronics Manufacturing is an advantage).
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage when dealing with suppliers).

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
