Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs declarations (K1, K2, K3, K8, K9, ZB forms where applicable) through the Customs EDI system.
• Review shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (COO), Import/Export Permits
• Classify products using the correct HS Code / Tariff Code.
• Verify customs duties, Sales Tax, SST and other applicable government charges.
• Liaise with Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM), MITI, MIDA, SIRIM and other government agencies regarding customs clearance and permit requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers and customers to ensure smooth shipment clearance.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve customs clearance issues promptly.
• Maintain customs declaration records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Ensure compliance with Customs Act 1967, Free Zone regulations, Strategic Trade Act and other import/export regulations where applicable.
• Support customs audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Prepare reports on customs declarations, duty payments and shipment status.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
• Logistics
• Supply Chain
• International Business
• Business Administration
• Customs Administration or related discipline.

Experience

• 2–5 years' experience in Customs Declaration, Freight Forwarding or Import/Export Operations.
• Experience using Customs EDI declaration systems.
• Experience handling imports and export documentation.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
