We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor to join our team on a remote basis. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage, adding engaging elements, and delivering polished, high-quality videos ready for publication.

Key Responsibilities & Job Scope

• Video Editing: Trim, cut, and sequence raw footage to create a seamless, engaging, and well-paced video story.
• Audio Enhancement: Clean up background noise, adjust audio levels, and sync voiceovers with background music.
• Visual Enhancements: Insert appropriate text overlays, subtitles, captions, transitions, and basic color grading/correction.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all videos align with the company’s brand guidelines, tone, and style.
• Revisions: Execute minor amendments or revisions as requested by the management to ensure the final product meets expectations.
• File Management: Deliver the final video in the requested formats and resolutions (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube/Facebook or 9:16 for TikTok/Reels) within the agreed deadline.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing (a portfolio or sample work must be provided).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of pacing, audio-visual timing, and modern social media video trends.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and own editing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Terms of Employment

• Employment Type: Part-Time / Freelance (Project-Based).
• Work Location: Fully Remote / Work-From-Home (WFH).
• Payment Structure: RM 20 net per approved video, invoiced weekly/monthly (or based on company policy).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
