Job Summary
The Mechanical Technician ensures the continuous operation of high-volume bakery production lines. This role focuses on repairing and servicing high-temperature ovens, proofers, mixers, and automated packaging systems while strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Bakery Equipment Repairs: Fix and rebuild industrial mixers, dough dividers, proofers, tunnel ovens, and high-speed slicers.
• Conveyor Maintenance: Service and track thermal-resistant oven bands, modular plastic belts, and cooling tower spirals.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM checklists on bearing assemblies, chains, and sprockets to minimize oven downtime.
• Lubrication & Hygiene: Apply certified food-grade lubricants and high-temperature greases according to strict food safety guidelines.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) safety protocols and maintain dust-controlled, sanitary work areas (GMP/HACCP).

Requirements

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical trade.
• Experience: 2+ years of mechanical experience, preferably dealing with high-heat environments or food manufacturing.
• Skills: Expert proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, drive chains, gearboxes, and reading mechanical blueprints.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
