URGENT HIRING – Retail Executive / Senior Retail Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We're expanding and are looking for passionate, proactive, and customer-focused Retail Executives / Senior Retail Assistants to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new store opening in Cyberjaya and grow your career with a fast-growing retailer specialising in baking ingredients, packaging, baking tools, and food service supplies.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate daily store activities to ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.
• Support merchandising, stock replenishment, and administrative tasks to maintain operational excellence.

Sales & Cash Management

• Process cash and cashless transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare sales reports.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, and operational documentation.

Customer Service

• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable products.
• Provide product knowledge and guidance on baking ingredients, packaging solutions, baking tools, and related products.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Create and maintain attractive product displays in line with company merchandising standards.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, well-stocked, and neatly presented.
• Execute promotional displays, festive campaigns, and new product launches.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Manage stock ordering, receiving, replenishment, and inventory updates.
• Monitor stock levels, fast-moving items, and product expiry dates.
• Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Practice proper stock rotation (FIFO) and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Prepare staff duty rosters to ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational and customer service goals.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

Online & Order Fulfilment

• Process online, phone, and social media orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate order packing, deliveries, and customer self-collection.
• Ensure product information, pricing, and inventory records are updated in the system.

Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Support promotional campaigns, festive events, product demonstrations, workshops, and sampling activities.
• Keep up to date with the latest baking trends, ingredients, packaging innovations, and new product offerings.

Store Maintenance & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and welcoming retail environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, food safety requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Passionate about retail and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Friendly, confident, proactive, and customer-oriented.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Responsible, dependable, and able to take initiative.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Previous experience in retail, supermarkets, FMCG, bakery supplies, or related industries is an advantage but not essential.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to commute to Cyberjaya.
