Job Description
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage vendor payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related queries and issues.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and compliance purposes.
A Successful Accounts Payable Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
