Position Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management by maintaining optimal stock levels, monitoring inventory accuracy, minimizing aged and excess inventory, and supporting timely inventory disposition. The role analyzes inventory data, identifies trends and risks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve inventory performance and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Accountable for overall Inventory holding. Responsible for the effective and efficient strategy planning on inventory holding, aged inventory, and all channel inventory planning.
- Accountable and responsible on managing accuracy of inventory system and reporting inclusive but not limited to conduct thorough investigation and report of any stocks variance. Manage monthly stocks reconcile or anytime its required and resolve on timely manner.
- Own and drive End of Life (EOL) , Return to warehouse (RTW) from stores to warehouse, Return to Vendor (RTV) from warehouse to vendor to deplete all the inventory.
- Manage inventory levels for all SKUs, categories and total levels in line with Operator and company target for both warehouse and channel.
- Lead the aging inventory review, SLOB review with internal & external team.
- Accountable for the SLOB inventory. Provide insight to management team for EOL & inventory management.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and dashboards.
- Provide recommendations to optimize stock levels and improve inventory efficiency.
- Analyze inventory KPIs including inventory turns, stock accuracy, excess inventory, and aging inventory.
- Work closely with Sales team and operations team on all inventory clearance process.
- Any Ad hoc task on supply chain related area.
Requirements: -
- Tertiary level qualification in Supply Chain, business administration or any equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years in supply chain management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power Query, Power BI).
- Proficient in knowledge of software applications tier 1 ERP (Axapta,SAP), WMS and automation. Proficient in the use of MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle fast pace and rapid change environment.
- A team player , enthusiastic , energetic , proactive , with a positive attitude.
- High Analytical with the ability to convert data into business intelligence with sound understanding & techniques for data analysis.
- Self-motivated, self-starter capable of remaining flexible to changing work priorities.
- Excellent quantitative/business modelling skills and understanding on the financial implications of decisions made.
